AMRITDHAARI
Amrit has been used as synonym of Gurbaani.
(see: Amrit).
Some people use the term Amritdhaari For an initiated Sikh.
But, this is not correct term. One who has taken Khanday-di-Pahul is a Pahuliya Sikh.
To call a Pahuliya Sikh (an initiated Sikh) as “baptized” Sikh, is also wrong, because „baptism‟ is a specific Christian ceremony, which means ‘initiating into Christianity.‟
