HONEST EARNING
The first cardinal principle of Sikhism is Kirat Karna (honest earning). A Sikh must earn his livelihood by honest means.
He/she cannot earn his/her livelihood by fraud, begging, smuggling, stealing or any other unethical means.
Kirat Karna does not mean only agriculture or labour jobs; it may any activity: business or service or anything else; one must work earnestly.
