GURMAT
Literally: mat (wisdom/teachings) of the Guru i.e. the teachings of the Guru.
It also means the Sikh way of life and the Sikh ideology.
A Sikh must live in accordance with the teachings of the Guru.
Mind is stilled by Gurmat and then it never wavers. (Guru Granth Sahib, p.538)
One who does not follow Gurmat & is enslaved by Durmat
Loses all respect. (Guru Granth Sahib, p.879)
